Jim learned that the original Spanish Mustangs
were still around while watching a PBS special which showcased the breed and featured
Emmett Brislawn and the Cayuse Ranch. After 30 years with IBM and 5 years with Dell
Computer, he retired to pursue his dream of ranching and breeding "original" mustangs
and "original" longhorns. Jim? intense interest in history led him to visit the Cayuse
Ranch where he purchased his first mustangs from the Brislawn family in 2000.
